Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information preferred.
Qualifications/Work Experience QUALIFICATIONS/WORK EXPERIENCE:
10 years business applications implementation and support experience,
with effective utilization of an ERP implementation methodology.
3 to 5 years experience with implementing Oracle Applications, working
knowledge of PL/SQL, Forms development, Workflow and Discoverer.
· Minimum of three to five years experience as a project manager
in a dynamic ERP Environment (Oracle Preferred).
· Experience in project management methodology and budget managing
and planning is required.
· Knowledge of Java, and object oriented languages and concepts
are a plus.
· Previous experience with change management in a regulated industry
is a plus.
· In depth knowledge with project management tools (MS project,
Excel & Visio)
Description
This position?s primary responsibilities involve managing Oracle OM Application
projects, as well as other projects as required.
Duties include developing and maintaining program specifications; writing
code; testing; implementing; creating and amending Oracle tables and views;
developing and maintaining interfaces with other Oracle and non- Oracle
ERP applications; and managing the technical and functional support for
end users.
In addition, excellent communication and diagnostic skills are needed to
properly assess requirements from the end user and translate them into plans/code.
Participate in all phases of the Project life cycle, with primary focus
on Oracle Order Management modules.
Identify and define user requirements, map business processes, define
software configuration and setup, develop test scripts and scenarios,
specify data conversions, establish integration points and provide relevant
applications and business expertise.
Deliver high quality technology solutions that align with the needs of
the business and add value to the business responsible for performing
this on time and within budget goals.
Perform and document all phases of the SDLC and adhere to internal policies
and procedures as progress is made towards completion of the project.
· Heavy concentration of application development in an ERP environment.
· Ability to manage numerous concurrent initiatives in a very
progressive and demanding environment.
· Manage SDLC to track, provide updates, and lead the development
of the new applications and modifications to existing applications.
· Software development on the Enterprise development platform
using the tools provided to develop new applications and modify existing
applications.
· Prioritize workload of resources by instructing, directing,
and validating their work.
· Perform administration functions for team development, tracking
and strategic direction.
· Light programming is required.
